He's quite clearly a good engineer, but a sane enough chap to see that his screw-ups are at least as important as his successes. And funnier. And the rail gun works...

that's so cool but I don't get it, why does the coil accelerate the bullet? does the heat from applying electricity pull it to the center or something?
ReplyDeleteIt's the effect of magnetism on the metal bullet, which is ferromagnetic. Copper, for example, would not work as a projectile.
