MagLev in Japan - The 300mph Train!
Yup, them there Japanese have got themselves a 300mph train and have used MagLev to do it:

Continuing on from the last posting, I found this:

It sounds pretty futuristic, and how successful other maglev installations have been I don't know, but there are lots of proposals. By the way, 400kph is 250mph.
